The Knowledge for Reform Action in the Western Balkans Programme supported a series of workshops held in Sarajevo on 10-11 June 2024 focusing on the preparation for the upcoming explanatory analytical examination (screening) for Bosnia and Herzegovina with the European Union.

The workshops were held in hybrid format, in the Directorate for European Integration in Sarajevo, as well as online for more than 700 participants from various ministries, agencies, offices and other institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the workshop, the participants had an opportunity to receive knowledge from the  UNOPS lead expert and discuss the points such as the content of the screening process – both explanatory and bilateral. The expert prepared the audience on how to prepare and navigate successfully through the screening process. Comparative examples of screening processes in other  countries of the Western Balkans were delivered.
